Hello Guru
We have a Sportster voice 28.8 faxmodem with personal voice mail
external modem connected to E420 R sun sever which is running solaris 6 and
having 4GB memory. the modem is not working i want to replace the failed
modem . do i need to shutdown the sever to dissconnect the modem fom the
RS232 cable at modem side or while sever is ruuning can i dissconnect the
modem and connect good modem to the server . waiting for the replay.
