I have tasked to find most cost effective hard drive size upgarde for a Sun
280R server, I am looking around 120GB from existing 36GB drives. I have
called Sun support and according to them the maximum size available in
internal HDD is 73GB and recommeded using external disk pack costing around
6K. The current hard drive in the machine is a Seagate Cheetah (ST336607FC)
What are the implications of buying the next available size from a Seagate
retailer and using it ?. The next available size is 147GB (ST3146807FC) and
effective cost would only be $1600, would I run into any problems ? Any
feedback or options you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Vikram
