Automounter mount point directory permissions

Hi all,

I have an interesting problem with the automounter. An automounted mount
point has the following permissions when the automounter is not running:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root other 512 May 29 08:18 src

After the automounter is started the directory permissions are changed to
this:
dr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 1 May 30 08:09 src

When I cd into the directory I get:
bash-2.05# cd src
bash: cd: src: Permission denied

I am successfully automounting this directory on other machines. I would
think that it should change the permissions to 755 and let me into the
directory, but I am getting the Permission denied message.
Any clues?

Brian
