Dear sunmanagers,

for a performance measurement we are currently busy loading 1,000,000
synthetically generated .ics files through csimport into their
respectives csuser accounts. The load rate we achieve on a v480 with t3
storage and an almost ideling associated s1ds 5.1 is about 2000
calendars per hour, declining as the database grows.

Is there any way of getting the data into the calendar server backend
faster than using csimport? Somthing closer to directly writing to the
db files while the calendarserver is shut down? Anyone who has
experience in doing so or any valuable hints? Maybe to access the
private api of the berkley db underneath? How would you do that?

Any helful informmation is very much appreciated. Thanks a lot in
advance.

regards, Stefan Berreth
