Hello,
I'm using the Solstice Network Data Replication software to mirror a server
on a backup server. The software is using a private 100 Mb/s link (which
real speed is 50 Mb/s). I'm experiencing high latencies in disk IO
operations. When I stop the SNDR, IO operations are 40 times faster than
when the replication is on.
Is this normal behaviour ?
Has anyone experienced those sort of problems ?
PS: the principal server is a E450 solaris7 with RAID5+1 hardware
the secondary server is a E250 solaris7 with RAID5+1 hardware.
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Regards,
