luxadm doesn't see A5200

Gurus,

We recently hooked up an A5200 to an old Sun clone (e420 equivalent) via
an Emulex LP8000.

The system sees the disks via format
3. c2t0d0 <SEAGATE-ST336704FC-FA17 cyl 13978 alt 2 hd 12 sec 424>
          /pci@4,4000/lpfc@2/sd@0,0
[...]
      24. c2t26d0 <SEAGATE-ST336704FC-FA17 cyl 13978 alt 2 hd 12 sec 424>
          /pci@4,4000/lpfc@2/sd@1a,0

But luxadm returns an error:
bash-2.03# luxadm probe -p
 Error: Invalid pathname

Emulex has the latest drivers, machine has the latest luxadm patch. I
wouldn't really care that much, but VxVM can't generated a license key b/c
it cannot see the disk array.

My first action will be to apply the sol2.7 patch cluster (this machine
was patched up for a long time). But wanted to know if anyone has any
ideas why.. I've worked with systems that used an Emulex LP8000 that saw
an A5200 w/o any problem.
