We have purchased a 3310 jbod and a v440 running sol 9 with a dual ultra 3 hba.
It has the 4 drivers and the patch for the hba and the latest patch cluster for solaris.
My question is the following what what are the basic configuration steps so I can get the 440 to see the jbod disks..I have looked at Suns documentation but it all points back to the 3310 that has hardware raid.
The second part of my question is what is the opinion/preference of other admins as far as the various flavors of software raid?
