Solstice backup and L25 in m4 data or atl 1500 mode?

Hi,

I have an L25 Tape Autoloader (rebadged Quantum ATL 1500) with its host
running solstice backup 6.1. Should the tape library be running in m4 data
mode or ATL 1500? Nwadmin displays an error about an eject operation in
progress and then spits an error "/dev/rmt/0cbn read/open error, I/O error"

Any ideas?

There isn't much info out there on this material.
