L25 tape library in a cluster

Greetings. Long time no post.
We finally got our FireServers (4800's) and our L25 tape library,
and my plan is to manage the robot with MTX. Solaris 8

However, I did not decide how to cable them up.

There are a few options
1) Robot + both tape drives on one server
my colleague does this, and Sun supports this.
2) Robot + one dive on one server, second drive on second server
    I think this is supported
3) One drive on one server, second drive on second server, robot on another
SCSI controller
Should be supported, it is a variation of 2
4) One drive on server 1, second drive on second server, robot daisy-chained
to both servers
This means that Robot can be managed via a VCS service. Requires changing
Initiator on
second host controller, something I did on Sparc 1000 (Does anyone have a
nice URL handy?).

Option 4 gives the greatest R/A/S. If almost anything goes wrong, it is
recoverable.
Has anyone done any of the above?

Is 3 or 4 overkill? (Actually, 2 drives is already overkill, but it was
bought, we'll use it)

Thanks
Seth
