Hi Gurus

I want to know if it is possible for Solstice Backup to backup a client
using a second NIC hme1 instead of the primary NIC hme0

In my Sun I have two NICs one is connected to the public network which
currently backs up the client at very slow speeds

I have a second NIC hme1 in both machines with a crossover cable that
connects them

I want to tell Solstice Backup to use the second NIC hme1 to backup the
client but it seems to
always use the first NIC hme0

I have entries in the /etc/hosts file on both machines

Does anyone know of a way to change this
