Hello,

Sun publishes the SPECint2000 and SPECfp2000 for a Blade2000 with 1.2 GHz
with 722 and 1118

The Blade2500 with 1.28GHz with 696 and 1021.

So the Blade2000 seems to be faster. Any idea why ?
Any part of the 2500 seems to be faster.
Memory Bandwith is 4.28GB/sec versa 2.4GB/sec on the 2000
Interconnect is 200MHz versa 150MHz on 2000
sure clock frequency 1.28 versa 1.2

Ok, the L2 Cache is smaller but it's faster and I dont think that's
important to a int or flotaing spec, or am i wrong ?

Will be happy for any idea why the 2000 seems to be faster.

TIA, Dirk.

Ps. Sure I know. Performance/Price is much better on 2500.
