Sun admins, greetings,
first the configuration:
18 SunRay thin clients and a package of smartcards
a Sun Fire 240 server with Solaris 8 HW 7/03 and SunRay Server 2.0
the user database is supplied via NIS (not NIS+) from a Sun Enterprise
server.
We are trying to establish passwordless logins via the SmartCard
in SunRay thin clients. I am able now to register a card with
a username but I have not found how to establish CAM (or kiosk)
when I tried to enable CAM with utconfig it tried to create users in
/etc/passwd and failed.
Has anybody had success with this kiosk mode on a SunRay server? Any
pointers to additional documentation?
