/usr/lib/32

Fellow sun men,

I have a static link in /usr/lib like this:

2 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1 Oct 14 13:20 32 -> .

looks like directory 32 links to the directory or itself?

I can cd to 32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/ n times and do a pwd
It gives me /usr/lib/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/ etc...
But it's the /usr/lib directory listing when I do an ls command

When I try to back up the Sun box, and I keep getting complaining
messages about path lengths being too long. Specifically, it's showing
things like:

/usr/lib/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/32/<some file name>

The number of /32s varies, but the same file names appear to be in each
of these directories.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at, but it seems pretty weird, and may
cause problems with
backups. Any ideas?
