Sol9 vs Sol8

Managers,

We are about to pull our spare v480 out of the closet and bring it on-line
 as a stand alone "file server only" using Veritas 3.5

I have the Sol8 disks from our first v480 fileserver and access to the patch
clusters.

Any real motivating reason to load Sol9 (which we would have to go out and
buy) on this guy, as opposed Sol8?
