Hello all,
Does the following tell that there is a problem in the
tape cartrige or does it say that there is a problem
in the drive.
ufsrestore -xv -f /dev/rmt/0c /shares/test/*
Verify volume and initialize maps
Media block size is 126
Dump date: Thu Jan 01 00:30:36 2004
Dumped from: the epoch
Level 0 dump of /home on sprinter:/dev/dsk/c1t5d4s2
Label: none
Read error while restoring <file dump list>
continue? [yn]
Backups to this tapes are been taken every other day.
The following is the command i use
ufsdump -0ucfl /dev/rmt/0c /dev/rdsk/c1t5d4s2 2>>
/var/backup.
The /var/backup does not report any errors.
Pls advice.
