A1000 question

All,
        I've RTFM'd all the docs I can find at Sun on this one. I have an
A1000 connected to an E4500. The 4500 has two differential controllers in
it. What I'm wanting to do is split the A1000 between the two controllers.
Is this possible? or does the A1000 only support connection to one
controller?
