Setting TWO ffb resolutions in OBP?

I've been looking for an answer online and keep coming up painfully empty-handed, so here goes.

I've found plenty of places online that show how to set the resolution of the console framebuffer using "setenv output-device screen:rWWWWxHHHHxRR" at the OBP. From what I've read, this is the only way to coax a Creator3D into 1600x1200x75 mode. So how do I accomplish this for a second, non-console Creator3D framebuffer on the same system?

I find myself with an Ultra 60 equipped with two Creator3D cards, and I've verified that both have the firmware revision necessary to support 1600x1200x75. (I realize that this throws them into single-buffered mode, and that isn't an issue for me.) The problem is that my monitors must run at 1600x1200x75, or I'm forced to fall back to 1280x1024x85 as the next best thing since 1600x1280x76 is outside the scan range. This results in a lot less desktop real estate, or in the case of the LCD monitor, either a large black border of wasted space or fuzziness from scaling up. None of these options are very appealing.

There has to be SOME way to convince the second C3D to go into 1600x1200x75 mode. I figure the OBP is the most likely way, but I'm more or less an OBP neophyte. Right now, I'll settle for ANY method that will work reliably. Anyone? I'll *gladly* summarize.
