Hi,
I recently installed a SunPCI card in my (Solaris-9) Ultra-5, with
off-the-shelf memory DIMMs.
But when I power-on the Ultra-5, there is no way to get access to the
card. Trying to load the driver (sunpcload) says that the card is not
present. "prtconf" shows no driver, "modinfo" neither.
A collegue has exactly the same problem on another machine, with another
card. To me, that lowers the chance that we BOTh did not fit the card
correctly in the server, as suggest by SUN documentation.
Anyone has a clue if there is some particular thing in the installation
procedure that might not be described, or in such 'small' letters that
we overlooked it?
