Dear sirs,
Iv just installed solaris 9 4/03 onto a ultra 10 box. The method i used was
to put the software cd and boot from it. In doing this seems it did a very
basic install...no man pages ..little or no extra packages are install .
like tar for instance. Myt questions that ....is there a howto on how to
do a well rounded install that has all the common packages ..like the man
pages and tar .. jove ,,,perl,,, gcc,,, tcpdump... tcsh,,, ,,,top,,,
gzip,,,
forgive me as im a Freebsd native ..
any suggestions are welcome and appreciated
