Invalid WWN Number when replacing bootdrive on E3500

I have an E3500 running Solaris 7. My boot drives are mirrored using
disksuite. My primary boot drive went bad and needs to
be replaced. I was able to detach all the metadevices from the primary boot
drive and was able to boot the server using
the mirrored boot drive. BUT, when I take out the primary boot drive and
put in a replacement, then try and boot from the
mirrored boot drive, I get the following message:

Can't open boot device.
Invalid WWN Number

I can only boot the server from the mirrored boot drive IF the primary
bootdrive is inserted. Does anyone know what I need to
do to be able to remove this drive and replace it with a working drive?

Thanks in advance!
