Hello experts,
I have a question regarding routing in solaris:
As everybody is aware you can add a route either for a host or for a network
eg.
route add -net xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
or route add -host xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
once you do that and the route is successfully added on the fly (not changed in
/etc/rc2.d/S99route file) - the question is there a way for someone to find out
as to whether the route added as -net or -host i.e. is the route for a network
or for a host (from the netstat -rv output).
I asked a SUN SE - couldn't get an immediate answer !! Any help will be greatly
appreciated.
Regards, NR
