Ufsdump compression

Dear Sunmangers

I require to confirm that I am using compression with ufsdump. I am using
SunOS 5.7 Generic_106541-16 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraSPARC-IIi-Engine and an
AIT-2 device with SDX2-50C tapes which should handle 50Gb native and 100Gb
compressed. My machine is setup thus:

/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s5 68541563 36772668 31083480 55% /export/home/o1
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s6 68541563 38058460 29797688 57% /export/home/o2
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s7 1265215 523805 678150 44% /export/profile

taken from a df- kl. There should be enough space left on my tapes if
compression is used, however I am being told that I have reached the end of
tape whilst backing up all three slices with usfdump. I backup all three
slices one after the other to a single tape. The command I am using is
"/usr/sbin/ufsdump 0ucf /dev/rmt/0cn <slice>". There is nothing in the Man
pages about compression switches for ufsdump. Can anyone advise me if I have
left something out?
