Hi Gurus,

H/W Sun E4500, with Ultra scsi Controllers. connected to 4 D1000s.

I have 24 disks from 2 D1000s are configured in a disk group. I have created
28 volumes with 7 volumes in 4 disks with stripe-mirror layout. created file
systems and mounted them, I wanted to do a reboot and make sure everything is
fine, then the Problem started.
System did not come up and saying board0 memory error, I switched of the Box
and reseted the memory, then I wanted to distribute the load on scsi
controlles and I/O boards So I chnaged one of the Ultra scsi controller from
board 7 to board 3, and rebooted the box. Strange I had missed 7 of the
volumes. they are not showing in vxprint out put.

What might have happend any clues and how to recover if possible.

OS: Solaris 8 with 108528-19 kernel update patch.
vxvm: Volume Manager 3.5 and vxfs 3.5

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks
Ramesh Edupalli
