I have a Solaris 9 x86 server (solx86) exporting a directory 'inet', with
sub-directories 'dir1' and 'dir2'. The automount maps /home/dir1 to
solx86:/inet/dir1 and /home/dir2 to solx86:/inet/dir2.
When I do a 'ls /home/dir1' or 'ls /home/dir2' from any linux machine
(redhat 8/9, current patches) the operation just hangs. I cannot even
kill the 'ls' command. The tcpdump on linux and snoop on solx86 shows as
follows:

The same /home/dir1 and /home/dir2 works fine from any Solaris machine.
Home directories exported from Solaris 7/x86 and Solaris 8/x86 also works
fine from any Linux machine; only Solaris 9/x86 has the above problem.
I can mount solx86:/inet on the linux machine without any problem.
However an 'ls' on the mounted directory gives the same problem.
Any suggestion?
