Workstation unreacheable after changing connection to net (more specific)

Hi Gurus,

I had to move a workstation, which is part/client of a domain, from one
building to another, so the only change was the room, but there were no
changes to TCP/IP address, domain name, default router or netmask . After
reconnecting it to the same network I'm not able to see/contact any member
of the same domain and the other domain members cannot see/contact the
workstation anymore. However the workstation can still see/contact the rest
of the world as well as the other members of the domain.

Before moving, all members of the domain were connected to eachother over a
switch, and then the switch over a router/gateway to the rest of the world.
Now the workstation is placed the other side of the router.

My network administrator says it is not a problem of the router but of the
sun workstations themselves. They would store/learn the routes used to
reach eachother somewhere and use them whenever they need them. Proof of
this is I can reach every non member of the domain from each member of the
domain from whereever they are located (I could experience this with the
client workstation mentioned above at its new AND old position and another
workstation which did not produce any problem at all). However I don't know
where to look for, at the domain client, the domain server or somewhere
else.

Is there somebody who could give me a hint?

Thank you very much. Thank to Chris Smith, Joe Fletcher, Alan Pae, Anthony
A. D. Talltree, Russell C. Page and Tim Villa for their sujections.
Unfortunately they didn't help.

Daniel
