Server crash with message - Waiting for arp packet

My SUN Ultra 10 server running Solaris 8 has crashed 4 times in the past 2
days. There are no messages in /var/adm/messages
that indicate a problem. The console screen just reads, "Waiting for arp
packet". I have to power off/on the server and it boots up fine.

Any ideas what is causing this? Hardware? OS corruption?
