General consensus is that this is perfectly normal for Sol 6 5/98 & 7 upwards.

Hi

Anyone out there running a disk card in a E4000 or similar?

I am trying to install one and I have a couple of questions.

1) The lights show the middle (maintenance one) when running although
the drives appear to work ok, is this normal? (handbook suggests this is
correct)

2) A prtdiag shows the card as 'disabled', again is this normal (seems
odd, but appears to work)?

The system is running Sol 9 with 336Mhz CPU's.
