Hi managers,
I'm going to replace two disks in SI from 18GB to 36GB without taking
outage. These two disks are mirrored with Veritas Volume Manager. I
DON'T have Veritas file system on this box. I'm going to do the
following:
1) vxdiskadm, pick replace disk.
2) pull out disk, then swap in 36GB new disk.
3) vxdiskadm, mirroring the disk to the 18GB.
4) when it's finished, pick replace disk, the 18GB.
5) swap the other 18GB to 36GB.
I'm not sure if I miss anything here, I'm also not sure how I will
create new file systems on these two new disks without Veritas File
system. Please help and I'll summarize.
