Hello,
I have Legato 6.1.1 installed on solaris 8 box and it was working fine
with SUN L20 tape library.From the september onwards I am facing a new problem
in which the 200GB capacity tape is written with 80GB and I get an error
message
"Fri 22:31:34 media notice: Volume "ACXXXXL1" on device
"/dev/rmt/1cbn": Block size is 32768 bytes not 65536 bytes. Verify the device
configuration. Tape positioning by record is disabled."
When I checked on the
Sunsolve with this error I found that the patch 108725-12 108725-13 should be
installed.The same patch is already installed and still the error continues.
I have my own doubts on the tape's originality.
Please clarify if I am
wrong.Is there anyone who faced the same problem?
