Dear All,
I'm facing a rather peculiar problem in Netscape messaging server 4.15 on Solaris. We have
installed Antivirus package from Trend on an outgoing mail server. Trend listens on port 25 which passed it to Netscape smtpd on port 10025. Strangely, all msg, after SMTP-Accept, shows Deferred in SMTP-Deliver (instead of Delivered). smtp log also shows
"Delivered 1 msg. to host (blank) for domain (blank)"
instead of
"Delivered 1 msg. to host 202.22.11.33 for domain hotmail.com".
If I remove Trend and restore smtpd to port 25, everything becomes ok. The same problem occurs when I make smtpd port, say 26, and telnet and send a mail (without Trend). Could anyone point out the problem.
Also, is there any mailing list for Iplanet products.
