crontab with error in message queue open

Hi,

One of my end users tried to save his crontab after modification by using
"crontab -e", he got message "error in message queue open". He was able to
use "crontab -e" to update cron jobs. I have checked the file permission on
his crontab file and it is OK. Is there anyone can help me on this one?
