Setting Refresh Rates

Managers,

I have a Sol 8 Blade 2000 with two XVR-1000 frame buffers.

The box was originally configured with 2 x 18" LCD flat panels, and the
resolution and refresh were set to:
SUNW_STD_1280x1024x60.

The LCD's have been swapped with CRT's and I need to switch the refresh rate
from 60Hz to 76Hz however I'm unable to save these setting after a reboot.

I've run:

fbconfig -dev gfb0 -stream a -res SUNW_STD_1280x1024x76 now and it works
fine, however if I reboot, it reverts back to the old setting of 60Hz. (for
both gfb0 and gfb1)

How can I make this persistent across reboots?

Also, if someone can clarify the function / purpose and when one would use
the '-file' option of 'fbconfig' along with the meaning of 'machine' or
'system' as it relates to the '-file' option, please feel free.

Any and all help appreciated.

Peter
