Hi
Patching a cobalt RAQ 550 through the BluLinQ web interface is quite
straightforward but time
consuming. Each package has to be installed individually, taking several
minutes each, (often
with a forced reboot after each one). Is there a way of doing them all in
one hit? Can it be done
noninteractively from the command line? Ideally I would like to get the
files from my own FTP site.
What are the right tools for manipulating the RAQ550 .pkg update files ?
- they are evidently not zip, tar, rpm or any gzipped, compressed, bzipped
format and I cannot
see anything in the usual bin directories that looks like a pkg installer or
lister.
FYI: The RAQ4 files seem to be simple gzipped tar archives, often containing
an RPM file.
Regards
John
