Greetings, I appologize in advanced if this question is not to this list.
I was trying to configure the printer on one of our solaris 8 system, this
solaris has some diferences since is made for siemens.
If configured using, lpadmin command line, print manager, I even tryed
admintool.
I'm tring to print to a HP Laserjet 2200 on the network, I can do telnet to
the printer... but when I do an lp -d laser filename this is the answer:
Message from lp on sualf02 (???) [ Wed Sep 10 09:41:54 ] ...
Subject: Problem with printer laser
The printer laser has stopped printing for the reason given below.
Fix the problem and bring the printer back on line.
Printing has stopped, but will be restarted in a few minutes;
issue an enable command if you want to restart sooner.
Unless someone issues a change request
lp -i laser-13 -P ...
to change the page list to print, the current request will be reprinted from
the beginning.
Can anyone help me on this ?
