System crashed and will not boot, even into single user mode, keeps
getting the following:
panic: read_binding_file: /etc/name_to_major file not found
...and the system goes into a loop of reboot, I don't have access to
the CD to boot into single user mode via CD, only console. Any suggestions
are greatly appreciated...(probably have to go in the office boot via CD).
- system hosed needs recovery?
- bad disk?
- reinstall or what?
