Hello,

I'm looking to to incorporate antispam and blacklist into my Solaris 9
mailhost (with latest patches). I have found several discussions and how
to's. What I haven't found is something to reassure me that if I use
/usr/lib/mail/cf/main.mc that I won't lose any of the functionality /
compatibility of Sun original main.cf. ie FUNCTION's / MAXxxxxxx's .....

I found some information on Sendmail's site that said I should disable
some of SUN's default behavior. ie. accept_unqualified_senders,
accept_unresolvable_domains and relay_entire_domain. This would plug
some of the spam holes. But what would I lose? What are your thoughts
on this?

When I look at the file dates of the documentation / *.mc files, they
don't seem to jive with the OS release. The README includes alot of good
information (a little dry to read outright), however I don't know if it
is accurate.

Other than that, I'm pretty cool on the subject. Learned more than I
probably ever wanted to know while researching the subject. But that is
the way it goes, sometimes. I would appreciate any comments on the
subject / questions.

Thank you. Have a great SA day!
