Hi Gurus, I am trying to get some additional information about NetBooting
a Solaris box and a Linux box. I know the basic concept of Netbooting.
But what gets me confused is that :- a) is it same as jumpstart , if not
then whats the difference is??? b) someone told me that in
NetBooting, to install patches (eg. kernel patches) I dont have to
physically install them on every individual server. I can just install
them on an OS image and use that image to netboot all the servers. Is it
possible and how?? Any other information/link will be helpful too.
Thanks for ur response and will summarize. -dj
