Hi Managers:
After installing the LDAP patches , setting up the ndd prameters, applying
the HotFix2, and installing the Directory server 5.1sp2, I see the
following warning in my error log as follow:
[18/Aug/2003:15:00:14] info (14751): Loading IWSSessionManager by default.
[18/Aug/2003:15:00:14] info (14751): IWSSessionManager: Maximum number of
sessions is 1000
[18/Aug/2003:15:00:14] warning (14751): admin40_host_ip_check:
session_maxdns could not resolve 0.0.0.0
[18/Aug/2003:15:00:14] warning (14751): The server configuration may
require more file descriptors than the operating system provides. If you
encounter PR_PROC_DESC_TABLE_FULL_ERROR errors, you may wish to increase
the operating system hard file descriptor limit from 4096 to 5763 (see your
operating system documentation) or decrease one or more of the following
settings: MaxFiles in nsfc.conf and ConnQueueSize, RqThrottle, and
MaxKeepAliveConnections in magnus.conf.
Is it something to concern about?
What is the best way to detrmine that the directory server is functioning
with this set of ndd parameters listed bleow as follow:
