Hi All,
Thanks a lot for all the replies that you have given, each and everyone
of them is a very valuable bit of information.
The summary of the replies is as below:
1. Ensure that the backups are current
2. It is suggested that the patches be updated in single user mode
though it can be done in muti user init states.
3. Read the readme files of the patches and check for conflicts with the
running patches.
4. Disable the prioctl workaround before applying the patches and enable
it again after the patches are applied.
5. If you have custom sendmail configs remove sendmail package from the
list 110615-09.
6. Unzip the 8_Recommended.zip and run the install_cluster script.
