Is there an easy way to capture network traffic activity? I've been tasked
to monitor
who is connecting to an oracle database on one of our local servers. I need
to monitor
the IPs and the number of packets that are sent and received for port 1521
based on IP.
I need to generate daily and monthly access.
I can gather some of the information from netstat, but I was curious if
there is a better
utility that might be better suited for this application?
