All, I have E450 running Solaris 2.6 rev 32 with 4 400Mhz 4MB Cache cpus
and 3.5 GB of RAM. The server has panic'd 4 times in 1 week. The 1st
panic/reboot was undeterminable, the 2nd complained about CPU3, the CPU
was then offlined with psr. The 3rd panic was about CPU3 again. The CPU
was then removed from the system physically. The 4th time it panic'd was
unidentifyable. The box was then removed from production and VTS was
started, VTS crashed 3 times on CPU0, CPU2, and CPU3 which was placed
back in the system. After the 3rd crash VTS has been running stress
testing for over 50 hours without 1 fault. I am not 100% confident that
it is the backplane. What are your thought's on this matter.
