Managers,
I know that this is a rather remedial question, but most of my
experience has been enterprise and not really dealing with users.
I have a user that has Acrobat Reader program that runs from an NFS
share. Within CDE and the file manager, he wants to be able to directly
open the pdf file with reader by clicking on it. I know that Unix file
association is based on the content, not the filename or extension.
So the question is: how can I associate this file or have the file
command recognize this type of file as a reader file and automatically
launch it. I know how to do this within Netscape, however is it possible
within the CDE file manager?
TIA
