Netra A1000 Storage System is DOWN

I have a Netra A1000 with 6 disks split as 1,0 1,1 1,2 and 2,0 2,1 2,2 and
RAID 5.

Yesterday, I noticed an amber LED on the front panel under power LED. Also,
there was an amber LED on disk 1,2. I took it out and then put it back. It
stayed amber but then I rebooted the servers attached to it and all the LEDs
came up green although I could see that the green LED on this disk was not in
sync with other drives. I assumed that it must be rebuilding RAID.

Today, there was another error message on the servers regarding the disk being
not available. Upon checking the Netra box, I found an amber light at the back
panel that is for Battery failure. Also, there were 3 disks 1,0 1,1 and 1,2
with amber lights.

I turned off the Netra unit and pulled out the SCSI controller card, as well
as the Battery and put them back in. Since then, the battery has turned back
green but the disks are still coming up amber and not just three but 5 out of
total 6. I have pulled out all disks and put them back while powered off yet
no difference this time.

I was also reading about the Raid Manager 6.11 software that could have been
installed on the servers to manage the RAID controller but I do not have a CD
for it.

1) It is hard for me to believe that ( although possible but....) all 5 hard
disks would have gone bad !!
Could it be just the controller that is acting up.

2) Could it be that just the RAID information is lost while I was swapping the
hard disks around hence amber LED.

3) Does RAID Manager 6.11 or 6.22 still available or is there some newer
utility available to do the same job.

I would appreciate your thoughts in this regard.

Regards
