in my machine wtmpx keeps increasing .

This is the contents of the file.I tried emtying the file and
still
the same problem.i read from sunsolve to remove this file.is
there
any problem removing this file as follows.
mv /var/adm/wtmpx /var/adm/wtmpx.old
touch /var/adm/wtmpx
chmod 644 /var/adm/wtmpx
chown adm /var/adm/wtmpx
chgrp adm /var/adm/wtmpx
Any issues by doing this.Please help/
