We have Sun Ray's on a one subnet being serviced by a session server (Version 2.0 of the Sun Ray Software) on another subnet. There seems to be quit a few packets going over the network between the Sun Ray and the session server even though no one is using the Sun Ray. The Sun Ray is just displaying the login banner. Since we have the login banner, I assume that the DHCP comms are over with.
Can anyone tell what communications is taking place in this instance. The install manual and the admin does not address this.
