Flash Install / NetBackup / crash recovery

        Hi Gurus,

I need your knowledge and experiences.

I'm working on some easy crash recovery procedures.
Backups are made via NetBackup and I'd like to create the easier plan
for recovery.

        Here are my questions :

        1) About flash
Could a flar image create for an architecture be restored on another
one (i.e. E450 => V480 or V880) ?

        2) About NetBackup
My method to restore from scratch is usually to install a minimum
Solaris, then restore whole disks from tape.
I've already done this with ufsdump/restore and Networker.
Do you have any tips to do that with NetBackup ?

        3) About two ones
I want to mix the two tools to do something really easy :
                - write a script which frequently creates a flar image of system disk
and then a iso FS to burn
                - write down a procedure to boot/install from my flar and then
restore from tapes
What do you think of that ?

        Any help would be appreciated.

        I'll summarise .

        Nicolas
