I recently did some major upgrades that needed to be done to my E420R
running Solaris 8 (64-bit), Compaq HSG80 SAN drivers and NetBackup.
Here is a list of what I did:
-Updated recommended patches as of June 26/03 (I tested these on my test
Solaris 8 box and all was fine)
-Applied patch 110912-03 (required for ACS 8.7)
-Updated OBP to 3.31
-Upgraded from Compaq (HP) ACS 8.6 to 8.7 and SecurePath 2.1a to 3.0b
All seems to be working fine but I do get the message
devinfo: [ID 939007 kern.warning] WARNING: devinfo: fault in private data at
30000281860
from time to time.
I have searched Sunsolve with no luck and I have searched the SM
Archives...also with no luck.
I did have a drive failure yesterday and I was hoping that this had
something to do with it...but as it turned out after the drive was replaced,
I am still getting these messages.
