I've lost all ability to have pressed/held keys repeat in all X windows
apps--xterm, dtterm, Netscape, CDE mail. That is, pressing and holding 'x'
should generate "xxxxxxxxxxxx". Carries over into text editing with 'vi'
and pretty much everything. All keys are the same, including backspace and
cursor movement keys.
System is an Ultra 2, with Solaris 9 5/03, plus Recommended patches as of
about 10 days ago.
I first thought this came from playing with Gnome (My Bad), but it
continued when I fell back to CDE. Key repeat works fine in text mode
on the console, as well as in remote logins to the system from
other systems. I have swapped keyboards, with no change.
