Subject: RE: Networker Question...
You can see how many times it's been mounted.
mminfo -r 'volume,mounts' -q 'volume=00001'
And you can see when it was first labeled.
mminfo -r 'volume,mounts,olabel' -q 'volume=00001'
I'm assuming you're asking this for volume retirement reasons, so
between these two fields you can come up with a policy.
Hope this helps,
Joel Fisher

Subject: Networker Question...
In Networker, is it possible using one of the commands to find ot how
many
times a tape has been used? It keeps track of how many times a cleaning
tape is used!!!
I looked on the internet without success and could find nothing in the
manual.
Thanks in advance...
Anthony
