Thanks to all who replied. Sorry for including some random diget in my
original post. I was in a hurry as I had to to this in the next 15 minutes
and wanted to confirm.
The overwhelming response was *reboot* was not required jut add the new ip
and delete the old one.
My clients *forced* me to reboot jut to be on the safe side.
